Thanks to DEKRA's massive presence on 5 continents and particularly its very strong experience in European countries, NORISKO can now offer its services not only in France to its traditional clients and prospects but also internationally.

We do consider this international service altogether as a continuation of our local services, but also as the chance to develop new products entirely adapted to the local needs of our customers and the regulations of their home countries.

First, in order to ensure the service continuity, we are also able to provide international missions with a technical content which matches the one of our domestic ones. This has been a regular request from our customers for many years, and our French engineers operate on a regular basis all over the world to check machines and buildings according to French references. To facilitate these missions, our experts are supported by our local teams on site.

In Germany, the DEKRA Group has been present for many years in the same field than NORISKO (technical, environmental and building control). They master all technical and regulation risks.

Backed up by the recently liberalized control market in Germany, this activity is rapidly expanding. Furthermore, the organisation of the Group into a unified management and a horizontal coordination by technical speciality, guarantees a total continuity of service on both shores of the Rhine.

Last but not least, NORISKO is actively setting up local subsidiaries abroad. These foreign-based subsidiaries are entirely dedicated to their own domestic market.

The first subsidiaries to be opened in South Africa, Poland and Turkey in 2005 and 2006 emphasise the Group's wish to offer an international know-how to our local clients. This know-how is linked to a thorough knowledge of technical and regulated constraints met on the ground.

Some examples :

In South Africa, we back up a client in the field of Telecommunications by providing missions as various as technical control of all his pylons, health follow-up of his employees, environmental monitoring of his installations or technical evaluation of his sub-contractors. In South Africa, NORISKO has also set up environmental or security quality system of several underground or opencast gold and diamond mines.

In Poland, we have carried out technical control of new buildings (retail shops, storage plants, logistic halls) according to French standards and local Nadzor controls. We also CE-marked pressure machines manufactured locally for some French customers.

In Turkey, we have carried out some third party inspection in a refinery, and have issued some CE marking on LPG tanks valves according to German standards.

In Japan and in South Korea, we regularly CE-mark machinery.

In Finland, we perform welding inspection on the future EPR nuclear reactor.

In Russia and in Czech Republic, we have performed building inspections.

In Nigeria, Morocco, Lebanon, USA, Romania… examples are there to show in real term our commitment to remain at your side everywhere in the world.
